Worthwhile Reads

Things worth reading ...

Knitters, have you seen Jared Flood's studio tour over at Design*Sponge?  Wowza!

Speaking of knitting, Susan B. Anderson recently opening her sock drawers so that readers could peek inside.   Lovely!

Steady Mom's how to make maple syrup at home is going into my "someday, in my homesteading dreams" file.  In the meantime, it is nice to see the process in action.

Target and I have been collaborating on an article designed to help parents encourage kids to read.  We created a little Pinterest board for it, too.

To all of you who have written to me over the past six months saying that you miss the homeschooling content and you wonder what we've been up to:  I hear you.  I love what Rockin' Granola has become and I like the writing style I'm developing here, but I hear you about the homeschooling.  I'm in the process of developing a little blog just for that, but I can't say when/if it will happen.  I've got a domain name, what I think is a snappy title, and an outline.  That's it.  I do have to sleep sometime, after all.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!

  1. Do what you love. You can always homeschool without blogging about it :) Not that I don't love to read it, but be kind to yourself.
