Today was another slow paced day for the Rockin' Granola household.  Half of us are now down and out with this mystery illness and I suspect baby Mia's constant drooling and miserableness is due, in part, to teething. 

That means that most of my reading has been of the children's picture variety and most of my knitting has been neglected in the works-in-progress basket while I tend to more important things.

I did grab an hour's worth of knitting while the littlest girls napped today, much to Max's delight.  He's been asking me for this "Batman hat" for quite some time now and today seemed like a good day to see just how far I could get with this bulky yarn, big needles project.  I'm knitting it in the round.

Perhaps tomorrow I'll finish it up if the girls take another nap.

I've got a certain, sniffly three year old who has requested one just for her, in "purple, please."
