Mom's work -
- transition Nature table to January
- have the family fill out these 2011 Time Capsule forms and start a jar for this project, too
- work on creating warmth around the house: wool blankets, sheepskin rugs, extra layers on the beds, slippers, etc. For more ideas, I have been reading through the Warmth archives at Rhythm of the Home.
In the Kitchen - I'm finding myself a bit overwhelmed making a meal plan every week, but I don't want to start a new week without one and face the dinner-time panic every night. So, we've signed up for E-MEALZ again, using their Whole Foods plan. We shall see ...
I'm starting on my Operation 2012 tasks, including working on the daily decluttering calendar from My Simpler Life.

Tuesday - Red Day
- Painting day - watercolor painting with red for Lucy and Max, and Jillian (4th grade) will be doing some Norse Myth inspired painting
Wednesday - Yellow Day

- Enrichment - finger knitting with wool yarn, making chains
Thursday - Orange Day
- Handwork/Crafting - (Jillian and I only) needle felting
- Games - matching mittens and gloves (I plan to have Jillian mix ours up in a laundry basket and then have her encourage Max and Lucy to make pairs)
Friday - Green Day, Three Kings Day
- Practical Life - paper mache bowls (from Amanda Soule's Handmade Home book)
